What is Hydroponics?
Hydroponics is a method of growing plants without soil, using a nutrient rich water solution to deliver essential minerals directly to the plant's roots. Hydroponics systems come in a various forms. At Haddon Harvest, we primarily use the ebb and flow system. This works by periodically flooding the plant roots with water and nutrients. After the plants have their fill, the system drains it back into the reservoir. This cycle ensures that the plants receive oxygen, nutrients, and moisture according to their needs - promoting healthy growth and preventing root rot.

Fresher and Longer Shelf Life
Hydroponic produce is often harvested the same day it's sold, meaning it's fresher and lasts longer than store-bought produce that travels long distances.

Hydroponics uses significantly less water than traditional farming and does not require soil, reducing land degradation. Our farms at Haddon Harvest are powered by solar panels, lessening the carbon footprint of our operation.
Local Roots
The owners are Haddon Township natives. Having lived our whole lives here, we want to provide safe and healthy foods for our community and neighbors.
